Who We Are

Mission: The USO strengthens America's military service members by keeping them connected to family, home, and country throughout their service to the nation. The USO is a family of volunteers, sustained by the charitable contributions of millions of generous Americans.

What We Do

Please visit volunteers.uso.org to get started! Once we see you're registered, we will reach out to you with more information! USO NWFL supports our military service members, their families, and retirees throughout Northwest Florida and parts of Alabama. We are always looking for volunteers for our four centers:  NAS Pensacola, Corry Station, PNS Airport, and VPS Airport. Volunteer duties vary based on the center, but our primary goal is to create and maintain a comfortable environment for patrons, consisting mostly of young, brand new military students training aboard NAS Pensacola and Corry Station. Many of these students are away from home for the first time and greatly appreciate what we do for them!

Volunteer shifts are generally 3 hours long, either welcoming and assisting our guests at our front desks or serving food, drinks and snacks in our kitchens.  We also give volunteers the opportunity to participate in our NW FL Special Events, which include Random Snacks of Kindness, Christmas with Santa, NAS Pensacola Homes Back to School Brigade, Pensacola Gallery Night, Homecoming with the Blue Angels, and much, much more!
