HELP REVITALIZE OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AS A VOLUNTEER
Our tax preparation program, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), provides tax preparation to families in our community with an annual income of $66,000 or less. This service is 100% FREE to those that come to our sites for income tax preparation. BUT...we need YOUR help as a volunteer!
There are several ways to serve: Client Intake Specialist, Greeter, Tax Preparer, and Quality Reviewer, Appointment Scheduler.

Volunteers for this program come from all walks of life: Working individuals, retirees, students, homemakers, professionals, and those with a desire to give back to the community in a meaningful way.
In this training we will cover everything you need to pass the IRS Link and Learn Volunteer Standards of Conduct exam, Intake/Interview and Quality Review exam, and the Advanced Preparer Certification.
