Volunteers are needed to help with researching and identifying potential fundraising venues, supporting fundraising events, and creating seasonal fundraising campaigns through community awareness and efforts.  Volunteers will collaborate with community businesses in an effort to raise funds for these events and activities. Volunteers are needed to engage one-on-one with students and families in our program, supporting various educational activities, participating in home/school visits, providing encouragement and support via phone, etc. 

This opportunity has both in-person and virtual elements. Schedules will be established that work for both the volunteer and the program participants. Program participants are located in both Mobile and Pensacola areas. Mileage and meals will be provided when travel is required.

Volunteers are needed to assist with recruiting volunteer and student participants for the Emmaus Kidz mentoring program, including identifying and interviewing program candidates. Volunteers are needed to communicate with and manage our cohort of volunteers, helping connect them with their preferred volunteer assignments and coordinating their schedules.

Interested in working with senior citizens? Like or want experience coordinating fun events and activities? Volunteers are needed to help coordinate and oversee social outings for seniors without mobility impairments. These social outings may include dining, movies, gaming, field trips, shopping excursions, retreats, weekend trips, on a biweekly and/or monthly basis.

Calling all teachers and Education majors! Volunteers are needed to help design and develop academic lessons for youth in Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. These lesson plans can cover a range of academic subjects, and if you're studying for a future in Education, this opportunity is a great way to practice preparing lessons for various academic levels.

Volunteers are needed to support youth activities on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, typically between 1 to 4 p.m. Depending on the volunteers' schedules, these dates/times can be flexible. Volunteers are asked to help create and implement the academic projects/field trips that are being done with the youth in our program.
