Our Mission & Vision Our mission is to reduce the health effects of violence and trauma. Our vision is to ensure every person in our area has access to a forensic nurse with the skills, resources, and training to provide trauma informed care to reduce the health impacts of violence and trauma. Our Cause Any type of unwanted sexual contact, is an act of sexual violence. Sexual violence causes psychological, emotional, and physical effects on the survivor. With the right help and support, survivors may begin the healing process.

Sexual assault program the provides forensic exams for survivors/ victims of sexual assault. We also provide community education and awareness. We developed a Preceptorship program for nurse and providers to learn and become expert at the forensic exam. We also treat survivors in a medical setting.
