This Event is a project shared by Santa Rosa Bridges Out of Poverty and Pikitz Art and Antiques.
Navarre Gardens is an Assisted Living Facility. After talking to many wheel chair bound residents - they would Like to have Wheel Chair Height Raised Garden Beds. Currently they have beds that are at standing height. Some residents can not help with planting flowers or vegetables due to the height restriction. A few of the residents would like to help with planting fall flowers and vegetables - stating "it was a joy when they could work in their own gardens". The current plan is to make 2 such beds.
